The Village Hall is situated on the old A12, 4 miles from the centre of Ipswich. It is set within the grounds of the Playing Field complex, which has a children's play area, bowls green, tennis courts, football pitch, and cricket ground. There is ample off road parking.
The hall which was built in 1991 is suitable for most functions, such as wedding receptions, dances, dinners, craft fairs, seminars, fund raising events etc.
The Village Hall is the venue for many regular clubs, groups and organisations who welcome newcomers, such as Badminton, Babyballet, Little Squigglers, The Brook Players, Carpet Bowls and Sing Out Saturdays. There is something for everyone, and we welcome new clubs, groups and organisations to join our diary. Please look at the Village Clubs and Organisations on this sites Home page for current clubs, and please contact the Hall Manager for information about starting a new club.
The hall has a well laid out kitchen, with a six burner gas hob and double oven, a freezer, a refrigerator a microwave, and a "continuous flow" hot water source.
A well stocked licenced bar is available to hirer's, selling a selection of bottled beers and lagers, single serve wine and a wide variety of spirits and soft drinks.
